Translation confirmation

I have a friend who needs the phrase "Pearl of the Mediterranean" (nickname of Alexandria) translated to Egyptian Arabic. Google Translate gave me ؤلؤة البحر الأبيض المتوسط but I thought I'd ask here to make sure that's correct. Thanks in advance.

You're missing the first letter (probably a copy/paste issue). It should be لؤلؤة البحر الأبيض المتوسط which is correct. But I would note that a much more common nickname of the city is عروس البحر الأبيض المتوسط ("Bride of the Mediterranean"). What is this for, anyway?
Please correct my mistakes in any language.

I'd note also that this is Modern Standard Arabic, rather than the Egyptian dialect, if it's the latter you wanted in specific.
