Schleicher's fable/The Sheep and the Horses

Postby Ashucky » 2013-10-13, 14:19

I'm sure you're all familiar with Schleicher's fable. If not, Wikipedia's got an article about it. So, what would the fable be in your conlangs? Please leave English at the top and add your conlangs below. :)

English (en) English: The Sheep and the Horses
A sheep that had no wool saw horses, one of them pulling a heavy wagon, one carrying a big load, and one carrying a man quickly. The sheep said to the horses: "My heart pains me, seeing a man driving horses." The horses said: "Listen, sheep, our hearts pain us when we see this: a man, the master, makes the wool of the sheep into a warm garment for himself. And the sheep has no wool." Having heard this, the sheep fled into the plain.

Tried my new language, Flinderan

English: The Sheep and the Horses

A sheep that had no wool saw horses, one of them pulling a heavy wagon, one carrying a big load, and one carrying a man quickly. The sheep said to the horses: "My heart pains me, seeing a man driving horses." The horses said: "Listen, sheep, our hearts pain us when we see this: a man, the master, makes the wool of the sheep into a warm garment for himself. And the sheep has no wool." Having heard this, the sheep fled into the plain.

After the revision of Ardlang, here's the new version.

And the sheep has no wool."
