And it's nice too, because they also have a brief grammar and links to some texts. A bit hard to learn from, but it might still be interesting.

That is exactly my problem. Well, especially the time aspect. With three languages on the hot plate and one more coming this summer (I hope) I don't have the time I wish I did.
Though the resources do shake my motivation a bit. Wish they had an actual textbook.

This. It's the lack of good/affordable materials that makes me lose interest in Chechen. For a while at least.

I'm quite happy with the Chechen Reader. While not strictly a textbook, it does a great job with the grammar. At least as far as I know.

爆弾 is the word you're looking for.

In the official Cyrillic spelling, double/subsequent vowels mean that there is a glottal stop between them, e.g.:
кхаара = qa’ara as I spell it, [qʰɐʔər] ‘Wednesday’
ца хаьа = ca xä’a [t͡sʰə xæʔ] ‘doesn’t know’
еара = je’ara [jɛʔər] ‘Thursday’

I forgot about that.
Oh well.

Moving on, does anyone have any links to any texts in Chechen? Whether they are books, newspapers, or whatever?

My vocabulary book arrived today! I'd hoped that it might have some grammar stuff in it, but it doesn't. It does have vocab on just about every subject imaginable with IPA pronunciation and a dictionary at the back that's split up into adjectives, verbs etc. I'd recommend buying it

I am so jealous. Can you judge if the book contains neologisms? I was writing my homework today and found a word for NGO: ӏедалх йозуш йоцу вовшахтохаралла (weedalx joozuş joocu vouşaxtuoxaralla) Official dictionaries have way too many Russian loans.

I finally found a Chechen teacher and had my first lesson yesterday. We’re doing conversations, because I know grammar and a lot of vocabulary, but can hardly put a sentence together. 6 hours a week for next two months!

I don't know about neologisms, sorry. This book does have more Russian loanwords than I expected though.

Does anyone know if it is possible to learn any Northeast or Northwest Caucasian language with only free resources? I don't mind if the resources aren't in English. I am a bit of a fan of Chechen, and would like to learn at least a little bit of a language from either of those families one day (yes, I know the two aren't related).

There were some lessons in Russian that were being translated years ago for Chechen and Abkhaz. I'm not sure if you u could find them still, but I suppose it's worth a shot.

I more the sure there would be tons of stuff for them in Russian, the only question is how much is online. Personally I haven't check as I haven't started learning Russian yet (though I still plan too).
