I am not exactly sure what you mean, but if you mean to type like on a computer or a typewriter, we use psát, napsat, just like for to write. Předznamenat means something like prefigure/herald/foreshadow...

Believe me, using Google Translate for Czech is quite a bad idea. :wink: Although in this case only few of those meanings are wrong, but you can't trust it. You can use for example http://slovnik.seznam.cz

I'll keep that one in mind. :) I don't rely that heavily on GT, though; only when I'm too lazy to use a dictionary or Wiktionary or when I need a basic idea of how to form a certain kind of sentence (obviously, it isn't ideal for this, but I don't have anything better to use).
