Marshallese phonology looks wonderfully complicated, so I know that one day I will have to learn some.

That's a great textbook! I've been interested in Marshallese for a long time, it's a very cool language. Hell, I have a copy of the older (but still good) Spoken Marshallese by Bender. I'm still looking to get the dictionary and reader too.

[My linguistic plate if full enough without wanderlust (both of my own doing and other's doing!). Stop tempting me! :P ]

Wow! Thank you for the link! Guess I have to peruse the forum more often.

I also have Dr. Bender's older Spoken Marshallese text as well. I have a Marshallese-English dictionary that I use as well. A lot of Marshallese here, so much so that just last month, UH Manoa offered a free course in Marshallese.

I do this only because I want to share culture

I think Marshallese and the other Micronesian languages are really interesting languages. I have found also this book:

Go to the section Pohnpeian. The title of the book is Lessons in Ponapean :) [ Another temptation :naughty: ]

Don't get your hopes up too much with that pdf. It's the ERIC copy, which is really crappy on some pages. Which is a shame really.

I had posted some stuff prior to the crash, I'll have to see if I can find the links again.
