En la ortografia de inglés, tu nombre sea "Donny". El nombre equivalente en inglés sea "Danny". Mi amigo optimo se llama Danny.

Eso no tiene ningún sentido. ¿Cómo podría ser eso su nombre en la ortografía inglesa?

Eso no tiene ningún sentido. ¿Cómo podría ser eso su nombre en la ortografía inglesa?

Él ha dich que se llama Daniel o Dani. En inglés, el más cercano sonido a "a" en castellano es "ah/o". Por eso, estadounidense oiría "Dani" como "Donny". Por eso, en inglés se llama Donny. La equivalente forma de su nombre corto es "Danny".

- Repitan después de mí.

these ones work if you're going to say what they have to repeat just afterwards. If you said it before, you should add a pronoun: repítanlo después de mí.

Pienso que el verbo "superar" puede cubrir la mayoría de palabras de ese sentido.

yo también lo creo. "outnumber" puede ser "superar en número"; en ciertos contextos puedes decir sólo "superar". "outgun" creo que se podría decir "superar en fuerza" o "en poder ofensivo", ¿puedes poner alguna frase de ejemplo?

He puesto "en número y fuerza" en corchetes porque me suena un ratito excesivo aunque todavía sea correcto. (O—mejor aún—escoge entre emplear "número" o "fuerza".) Sin embargo sería mejor esperar las opiniones de los otros hispanos residentes del foro.
