Proper Pronunciation of Pliigi?

Pliigi is "to make more" and it is two roots
pli and igi, the easiest was to pronounce it using English phonetics would be like this:
pleeyéégee
(éé denotes stress)

Yes, but there are 2 ways of saying more in Esperanto..
pli and plu

Pli is a comparative more..like I want more food. (Mi volas pli manĝaĵon)
Plu means further..like I want to sleep more (Mi plu volas dormi)

There's some words in Esperanto wich are impossible of pronounce, for example the infinitive of some verbs wich stem ends by -j, such as "boji" <to bark>...

Why is that impossible to pronounce? If you can say "year", you can say "boji".

You're right, I didn't notice it, but before I believed the diptong /ji/ was samely pronounced as /i/ by itself.

It should be 'plee EE gee'. In most cases (maybe all of them) where you see two identical vowels next to each other, one of them will be stressed and the other will be unstressed.

The point is until now when you had notized me, my pronunciation of "year" was wrong =/jar/

The two main strategies (that I've heard) seem to be

1. try to pronounce two separate vowels and end up with some kind of glide between them

2. separate them with a glottal stop

I usually end up doing the first.

Also, the stress reflects the double vowel:
pliígi
rée
heróo (if it were just hero it would be stressed like so: héro)
fimáa (because firma is a different word)
firma streso and firmaa streso mean very different things
