NUMBERS FROM YOUR CONLANG(S)?

Postby JANKO » 2009-07-13, 15:21

Hi all,

My name is Janko. I'm collecting numbers from various systems in different languages. You can found information about my self and my work on:
http://janko.gorenc.googlepages.com/home
http://janko.gorenc.googlepages.com/collectionnumbers

Please you tell me if you have numbers also from your those conlang(s) which I haven't mention on my web page Constructed languages on:
http://janko.gorenc.googlepages.com/con ... _languages
so far.
Could you please send me numbers from 1 to 10 (as in English: 1 –one, 2 – two, 3 – three,…) in your conlang(s) on Conlang List or my e-mail address:
j_gorenc@yahoo.com ?
I would be very glad if send me message with numbers from your conlang in future.

Thank you for your help!

I wish you a lot of success at your help!

Pilonja is base 5, so it only has the digits 0-4. dís is considered a "set of 5," when it is not obviously 0. ie, díssék = 3 sets of 5, this could also be suk.

of the 5 digits, they each have an assigned letter, an obvious one too. dís = d, kúks = k, joén = j, sék = s, and istí = m. any number above 5 uses an extra set of number suffixes that these letters are prefixed to. ie, -ul = x5, jul = 2x5 = 10. and these can get big, -ostí = x3125, mostí = 12500. and they can be added in sequence, mostíjulsék = 12513

0: dís
1: kúks
2: joén
3: sék
4: istí
5: kul
6: kulkúks
7: kuljoén
8: kulsék
9: kul'istí
10: jul

Probably. Janko pops up every once in a while to ask for numbers from people's conlangs. It's quite important to him.
