しりとり(ゲーム)

Postby Ayiaearel » 2008-02-02, 19:40

If you've never played Shiritori before, here's a rough guideline to the game.

- post a word that starts with the same kana that the previous poster's word ends with (when the last kana is a small kana, use the last two kana - such as きょ)
- you cannot post words ending in ん as no words start with this kana
- avoid words ending in る as there aren't many words that start with this kana
- you cannot post words consisting of only one kana (such as 血(ち))
- for the purpose of this game, kana with small や、ゆ、よ attached, are considered separate (so し and しゃ are separate)
- try not to repeat words used recently where possible

I've never heard of a rule that says otherwise, so I guess they are. I'll edit the rules.

I scanned very quickly through the rules, but I think you missed the rule about words ending in ん, since no word begins with ん
This game is on jref, for any of you that go on there ... :)

It's the second point in the first post.

Eek! Read the rules people!
Words have to be nouns (not adverbs).

18.時間(じかん)ー time

This happened in a previous post so someone needed to say this. One syllable words aren't allowed in shiritori.

For example:

13.着(ぎ) - clothing

It is invalid but let's just keep going :)
