Let’s play a multilingual game

Postby JaneFairfax » 2007-08-11, 23:05

I will start the game by posting a word in a language of my choice. The next person will post either another word in the same language or the same word in another language, and so on.

For example, if the last word is
trädgård (“garden” in Swedish), the next word can be another word in Swedish (say, moln (“cloud”)) or a word for “garden” in another language (say, jardín (Spanish)).

Here is an example (from another forum) of how such a game may proceed:
http://z8.invisionfree.com/DYK/index.php?showtopic=59

I’ll start off with this word:
    pax (peace, Latin)
(Now next person will post either another Latin word or a word for “peace” in another language. :D)
