Hello. I have part of a poem I would like to be translated into Hungarian. I've looked through my books, but think I might be in a little over my head, so I thought I'd look for help. It's just this:

"Where is my heart? It's in her hands and I love her."

The background is, recently I'm communicating with a person from Hungary, who is learning Japanese. He does not understand English, so our communication replies on Hungarian (I'm at a very beginner's level) and Japanese (he's also a beginner).

He was using .freemail.hu which does not support Japanese and sent me Japanese text in a file from a Japanese wordprocessor (which I've never heard of, with extention .jce). I can open the file and see Japanese text in it, but it does not support Hungarian, Hungarian text he wrote beside Japanese were all garbled.

I asked him to use gmail, which support all languages since it's default encoding is Unicode (UTF-8). He did and I sent him a text with gmail which consists of Hungarian and Japanese. Then I receive the above message.

For him, gmail does not work with Japanese characters (hiragana, katakana, kanji - these are Japanese alphabets). Is my understanding correct?

"beállítsd" Could someone explain this word?
I found out that beállít means "to adjust", "to set".
But I don't know the conjugation (-tsd).
Is he saying that I set (the encoding) UTF-8?

I'm totally lost with this one, because I could not find the words "hátha" and "írásjel". Megjelenik means "to appear", but without knowing these two words I cannot tell what's happening at his end.

It’s imperative mood. Verbs ending in -ít have imperative endings starting with s (that’s how the theoretical j is realised). So yes, he tells you to set the encoding to utf-8 on your end (‘nálad’).
