Sorry to break language, here, but why use that when there's already a language just like it - LATIN! Believe it or not, French, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, and Portuguese all come from Latin. So ideally, that would be the language to use.

Afaik there are some kind of Latin counsel making new Latin words for modern things, like jeans and ice hockey

And yes, the Vatican released a modern Latin dictionary, but after reviewing some of the sample words and definitions, I found it lacking true Latin quality.

okay so maybe we would be able to create new scientific words in Latin to correspond to our modern vocabulary

Or Interlingua. But i preffer the Latin
