I know how inboxes work. I’ve got plenty of room and other messages have been reaching me fine. (Unless somebody messaged me to ask why I hadn’t posted my translation because I haven’t seen any PMs relating to the FUBAR game at all since Vijay asked me if I was okay with translating from Latin.)

Off-topic: it's 2022 and this forum still doesn't have an "@" function, so you're forced to use quotes filled with "..." :silly:

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure they don't care about offhand comments like that, and I think the server administrators barely ever visit. I'm not even 100% sure whether unilang is an actual person.

No, it's not. I'm not sure what happened. Maybe I clicked "Preview" instead of "Submit" and then closed the tab? Though even when clicking the wrong button, the result looks very different from the right one, so it's hard to imagine that I wouldn't have noticed.

As far as I know, the server admin is really just proycon. unilang isn't a person - it's just the very first account proycon ever created when he first set up this forum. As for the forum not having a "@" function to reference users, I don't know that phpBB has that functionality? I'm sure there's probably a mod/plug-in we could find for it, but phpBB's design is from an older time when the idea of quoting someone was all cool and cutting edge!

I think you misunderstood the comment, or the target of the "tease". OldBoring was never trying to intentionally hurt anyone or say that someone specifically is at fault or failing because the forum doesn't have this functionality. Also, in my experience, sometimes leaders of a community or group are open to feedback for changes to that community/group. Of course, sometimes they're not.
