Enthusiastically. :)

Hiccoughs are terrible. I'm glad I haven't had them in a long time.

The person after me lives in a small city with moderate temperatures year round.

Neither. Born, raised and living in a city with a population over 600,000 and temperatures between freezing cold and hot as hell.

The person after me is an Agatha Christie fan.
Please correct my mistakes. I'd really appreciate it ❤

No, I don't really love her novels, though I usually love crime novels...

The person after me is watching a manga to please someone they appreciate, because mangas aren't usually their kind of program.

"Manga" is a term for graphic novels. When a manga is adapted into a movie, it is often called "anime". You might also use that term for a television adaptation or you might just call it a "a tv show based on a manga".

tiuwiu wrote:I don't consciously watch but my children enjoy watching animes so I often spend time watching it with them.

"Anime" is generally uncountable in English. If you choose to pluralise it, you can't then refer back to it in the next clause with a singular pronoun.

It sounds awkward to use "watch" without an explicit object. I would say "I don't consciously watch anime, but my children enjoy it..."

I don't want that kind of responsibility.

The person after me still lives in the town or city where they were born.

Outside of Indian English, it's a bit odd to agree with a negative statement before going on to negate it even more emphatically. "No, never" is what I would say in this instance.

Not yet today, despite being outside already, but I haven't left my yard so I think that's okay.

The person after me was hoping their allergies wouldn't be so severe this year.

Actually I meant it like in general, not today specifically. Should I have written it differently then? In Dutch you add 'wel eens' in these kinds of sentences.

Oh yes! It's been so bad this year and as sneezing meant not being able to do groceries and stuff that was so annoying. And always the question: what if it's covid?

The person after me recently went to a zoo.

The English sentence is inherently ambiguous, but the default reading would be "ever". I chose to narrow the scope because it made for a more interesting answer than just "yes". If you wanted to preclude this, you could add "before" (which is pretty universally interpreted as "before today").

No, I haven't been anywhere too far from my neighborhood in the last four months. The last time I went to the zoo was last summer in the Bronx, and I really enjoyed it.

Who doesn't? They say it can be stimulating but I tend to think we cannot give the best of ourselves.

The person after me just finished ironing their step children's clothes though it's more than 30°C in the room.
