What am I wearing?

Postby Taxodium22 » 2019-04-07, 21:32

Can someone tell me what this shirt says? I got it on a wonderful trip to India because I like it, and the shopkeeper was an incredibly kind soul, and before I go about town and speak a language I didn’t know existed (nodding/shaking/twirling my head), I want to know what it means and what I am saying when I’m saying it.

Ideally it’s not offensive, and my commensurate head jestures won’t be as well. Just looking for input.

One human lives in this world, and it is you and me!

Thanks,

Looks like (oṃ, praṇava) and lotus footprints. They are Hindu religious symbols, and not offensive. You can google them for more info.

Thank you! And I will research. I want to avoid offensive behavior as much as possible, which is tough for Americans these days. From one who doesn’t want to offend another soul. And has many wonderful friends on the subcontinent.

Thank you,
