Danke!

As for my progress with German, I took a mental health day yesterday. Thus, I didn't post any exercises for Kapitel 2 yet. I have most of them done. Just a few stragglers are left. I'll start posting them later today. I'll also move on to Kapitel 3 and get that finished this week.

Colega, hast du etwa gedacht, dass ich das nicht mitbekommen habe ;)?
Gerne geschehen.

As for my progress with German, I took a mental health day yesterday.

I do hope that it isn't anything even semi-severe. #NoReplyRequiredAtAllSignedSGP

But if it is, all the best.

I think you'll get used to it, though, if you aren't already. :)

Sorry, I've taken so long to post those exercises from Kapitel 2. I plan to do that later today.
I'm almost done with Kapitel 3. My plan for this week is to post some exercises from Kapitel 2 & 3 (and finish Kapitel 3), and work on (and hopefully finish) Kapitel 4.

Bis später!

Not a big deal, but it actually is Sprachenzentrum just as in the picture. "Sprechen" is (to) speak, and "Sprachen" means languages.

Edit: That doesn't mean that "Sprechenzentrum" with an E would be entirely wrong either. But it is very unusual, and many would directly count it as an error. (I don't, but I am a bit unusual, too ;)). BTW, by "picture" I simply mean the scanned (?) textbook image file.

Well, I know. But after looking it up, I was a bit surprised that Sprechenzentrum (with an E) actually is used, too, in some rare cases. And it makes sense as well. Because if there are centers for languages, why wouldn't there be centers for speaking as well :)?

(Just to be clear, the first one in 6 is correct.)

And as for something else (but on-topic): In German, "information" will be translated as Information or Informationen, it depends. No doubt that the first word is the singular, and the second one is the plural.

But in English, that distinction isn't being made, because (EN) information is a Sammelbegriff anyway (= collective term). Just as you wouldn't say "I have got some milks" when referring to several glasses of milk, you also wouldn't say "Can you give me more informations?". And "Milch" isn't pluralized either, but some German speakers definitely do pluralize (EN) "information".

So, I've been taking it easy this week and am mostly just finishing up the exercises in Kapitel 3. There are a lot more left than I originally thought. :P

I'll move on to Kapitel 4 in Monday (Jan. 7).
