Winter is making me want to pick up Russian again, even though learning Russian for me always starts off as promising and ends about as badly as a typical Russian revolution does.

All Indians speak Hindi. They are all Hindu. They don't eat beef.

I wasn't for a long time, but then my partner developed an interest in Bollywood films and I wanted to know what people were saying. I still prefer Panjabi, though.

IME Hindi isn't all that popular around here. I was into it, but as with everything else my lack of concentration stopped me from ever getting anywhere with it.

I dunno, we're a pretty small forum and there's already me, Vijay and Eskandar (it's a shame Meera's not around anymore!). That's already like, what, a quarter of the active users?

You're right. I was thinking of 2010-13 or so when I was here more regularly and we had more users. Before the dark times.

Same. Lately what I do for fun is try to decipher Russian news headlines and Italian booktube videos, with some Russian duolingo on the side. Sorry Korean...
