I just listened to Chapter 2 of Colloquial Swedish as well and read the passage at the end.

Should we resurrect this group? Give it another go? If we go at a slow pace, I'd be up for it. We could use whatever resource, including perhaps a YouTube series of some kind instead of a traditional textbook?

So, according to Google Translate, you wrote in Estonian and this is what you said: And, shave the fruit in the foreskats. :D

What resource were you guys using? What one would you want to use?

She said she'd like to try.

Colloquial Swedish, but I'd be happy with TY Swedish instead since I have it in hardcover. I'd like to be able to access the audio, too, though (we already have the audio for Colloquial since Routledge released all their audio for free).

Colloquial is fine with me; I don't really have enough experience with the two to compare them. I have the 2007 edition; what about you? Teach Yourself also now offers its audio for free; they have TY Complete Swedish, but it would be the newest edition, which I don't have. However, I do have an older edition with audio. Which version of TY Swedish do you have?

The resource we were using before was this.

I have the 1995 edition of TY Swedish. I don't seem to have access to the audio anywhere, though (I certainly don't have it in physical form).

That's the same edition of Colloquial Swedish that I have. I take it the audio that is on Routledge's website fits with this edition? Here is the free audio for TYCS, although the picture shows the latest edition. However, the version I have is early 2000s, but it came with the audio cds. But, since we have 2 different versions of TYCS (and I don't know if Antea has TYCS at all, let alone what version), let's keep using Colloquial.

What say we get this party started? I'm all for just sticking with Colloquial Swedish, like before. Chapter 1 is 12 pages, so going at a rate of 1 chapter per week will definitely be too much for me. One possibility I thought of is to try for one chapter every 3 weeks. Another possibility is to break up the chapters into different sections and do one or two sections per week. What do you two think?

So what if we did what I proposed on my TAC - read and listen to Chapter 1, Text 1 + Vocabulary (pp. 20-22) of Colloquial Swedish by the end of this week?

Hey all, I'm sorry but I'm dropping out of this group. I took on more than I can handle right now.
