So, for this week (Aug 4-11), I think I'll finish up Kapitel 3 and review Kapitel 1 and 2. And I'll also try to catch up on my damn Anki deck (at least through Kapitel 4). I might try to squeeze in Kapitel 4 too.

I'd also like to start giving myself translation and writing challenges (bi?)weekly. I'll post those in my personal thread.

I've gone through the first few lessons (I was working on 5 a few days ago, if I remember correctly), so what do you wanna do as far as this study group Vijay? I know a lot of this will probably be below your level, but I wanna ask anyway. :P

I am definitely interested. I like that book, except that I remember that last time I tried to use it I had to use the dictionary quite a bit, as not everything is included in its word lists or something. Which is fine with me anyway, really.

The only problem is I've signed up to the Twitter 6-week challenge with Ancient Greek, and I'm going to try to win at least 2nd place (which is usually accomplished by studying ~150 hours, i.e. 3.5 hours per day). I'll join you in mid-December for German.

Ok, will you be able to catch up, do you think? Or would you like us to slow down a bit for you?

I'll catch up, although I realize that maybe you'll be onto another textbook by then. German Quickly only has 34 lessons and you're done with 5...

I do expect to slow down a bit. Plus I think I'll make this week a vocab week anyway, so Vijay can get familiar with the text. (Not so much the language, because of his level, but the methodology and such. :P ) Plus I really should drill the vocabulary in some fashion anyway.
