Mbunda is a Bantu language closely related to Luchazi and spoken mainly in Angola as well as in Zambia to some extent. This is a song with dancing that I think may be in Mbunda based on the video title. I'm not sure whether it was filmed in Angola or Zambia; I'm inclined to guess Zambia:

Today, August 18 in Stirling, Scotland, will be the last Runrig concert ever. They're retiring from live performing, which will genuinely be the end of an era for Gaelic. I've never been a huge Runrig fan but they do have some songs I really like and there is no arguing over their place in contemporary Gaelic revitalization. So many Gaelic learners I have known over the years have cited Runrig as an inspiration for learning Gaelic and for many of them, Runrig's Gaelic language songs were the first Gaelic music they had ever heard. It's hard to dismiss that kind of influence. So I'm listening to some Runrig over here in the US. Tapaidh leibh agus soraidh slàn leibh, a Runrig!

Lozi a.k.a. siLozi or Rozi is a Southern Bantu language closely related to Sotho. It's spoken mainly in southwestern Zambia but also in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. This is a Lozi song, apparently about a man celebrating his daughter's wedding, called "Aiwe ma zenya mulamu zenya chelete":

That this is what I'm listening to on this Monday morning says a lot about my mood. Whenever people say about our current time that "we survived Reagan/Thatcher, we can survive this," people like me who grew up in the 80s are quick to point out that not all of us did. Myself personally, I survived the 80s by injecting music like this directly into my veins.

Luba-Kasai a.k.a. Western Luba, Bena-Lulua, Ciluba, Tshiluba, Luba-Lulua, or Luva is a Luban language, closely related to Kaonde, and the lingua franca of the central(?) part of the DRC. This is a song in Luba-Kasai called "Kazadi Ngandi" recorded in the 1950s:

Songe a.k.a. Songye, Kisonge, Lusonge, Yembe, or Northeast Luba is another Luban language spoken in southern Congo. It's not as closely related to Luba-Kasai as Kaonde is. This is a fairly long song in Songe called "Musongye Mukielenge" about the Songe people and their pride, with subtitles first in French and then in Songe, apparently performed by Mi-Amor and TG Basokin:

In the mood for Ludovico Einaudi tonight. I'm listening to this album of his right now. My favorite tracks on this one are "Ora" and "Dolce Droga."

The only problem with listening to Einaudi when studying is it makes me want to stop studying and pick up my guitar and play for a bit instead.

Kanyok a.k.a. Kanioka is a Luba language, closely related to Luba-Kasai and Kaonde, spoken in the southern part of the DRC. This is a song in Kanyok, apparently performed by someone named Kazadi Celestin and called "Musambo Wa Maja." It's from the same set of recordings from the 1950s as "Kazadi Ngandi," the Luba-Kasai song I posted:

Lele a.k.a. Bashilele, Bachilele, or Usilele is a language spoken in the southern DRC, apparently part of the small Bushoong language group. The Bushoong languages in turn may be closely related to the Bangi languages, including Lingala. This is a traditional Lele song and dance. I think I'll watch the first four minutes or so:

Hendo a.k.a. Songomeno or Osongomeno is the only other Bushoong language there is besides Lele, Wongo, and Bushoong itself. Like the other Bushoong languages, it's spoken in the southern DRC. GRN has a few recordings that they claim are in different varieties of this language. This is a recording they have (or an excerpt of it) for the Ntono variety. Dengese a.k.a. Lengese or Ndengese is a Bantu language spoken in the southern DRC. It's been suggested that one language variety normally considered to be a variety of Bushoong may be closely related to Dengese. This is a TV show of some sort that I think might be in Dengese. I'm just listening to the song at the very beginning of the video (after the explosion ):

Tetela is a Bantu language spoken in the central and southern DRC that's apparently closely related to Dengese. It was also the native language of Patrice Lumumba, the DRC's first prime minister, and many of the officials in his government. This is a Tetela song called "Edimanyelo," apparently meaning 'pardon', performed by Les Musiciens du Sankuru:

Kela a.k.a. Yela, Ikela, Okela, or Lemba is a Bantu language spoken in the central part of the DRC. Traditionally, it was considered a Tetela language, i.e. closely related to Tetela and Dengese, but now, it is apparently considered to be more closely related to Sengele. There's a song in the background of the first clip in this link from the GRN that's apparently in Kela beginning at 8:54:
