A stylistic issue with this text is that you're trying to squeeze a lot of modifiers into just a few sentences. It's difficult to grasp what's actually happening.

[3] Awkward. I guess you're trying to adjectivise "I would accept it with reluctance"? If you want to express a sort of ironic understatement, I might say, "Marginally acceptable".
