But i meant i considered "motivazione".... i actually don't know why i chose contemplare, it doesn't even work in english if i said "i contemplated it" in this context lmao. I'm gonna take a guess and say "perché l'ho considerato" oppure "perché l'ho preso in considerazione" woulda been better.

I think you mean to say perché è quello a cui avevo pensato. :p

Come ho ditto: una leggenda

I'm in trouble with Cree, because there's no real course i can do for it. And i've thought about trying to do the lessons for italian i have but with cree instead. But because i can really only do guess work i dunno how good that'll end up being, since i have no idea what kinda nuances certain words or phrasings have and can't simply look that kinda stuff up. :/ For how popular Cree is i'm really shocked at how few resources there are. If i had money i'd probly be able to order a Cree dictionary online, and there might be some readings in it and other grammatical stuff which could be helpful... but i'm poor lol I'm working on getting a job tho, and my future's been looking brighter lately in that regard so maybe sometime this year i'll be able to do stuff.

There's also an interactive app that teaches Cree, but my phone is much too old for me to download it. I'd like to be able to get a newer phone so i could check out the app.

And also nvm about my rant, I found some links for resources that might be cool, i'll check em out tomorrow. (ofc, they're majority Plains, but i can probably easily make em Woods (except those pesky y's.... there's literally no pattern for knowing which y to turn into th  unless a word happens to begin with miyo- or end with -eyiht/-eyim- :P )

If worse comes to worse, what about using Spoken Cree by Ellis?
Sure, it's not Woods Cree, or even Plains Cree but at least it's something. This is of course, after you get your job.

Oooo that seems cool, and it never hurts to have a passive knowledge of other dialects too.

Happy to help. And you're right on the money, why limit yourself when you can get a bit of each dialect? :)

Hey Koko, I thought I'd pass this by you. I just found it a day or two ago. I'm not exactly sure what dialect it's in, but here it is:
https://www.amazon.com/Beginning-Cree-S ... 0889774358
(And yes, I know you're in Canada. You can probably buy it off Amazon.ca, or you can get it off the University of Regina website. :) )

Oooo that looks neat. And it suggests two other books, one of which is a workbook which looks very much worthwhile as well. Now i really money lmao.

Thanks księżycowy

Also my guess is "Beginners Cree" is in Plains Cree, cause of the spelling "nehiyawewin" on the cover.

Yeah, I was just doing some further research and it's Plains Cree alright.

Unfortunately I still haven't stumbled across anything for Woods Cree yet. I'll keep looking though.

Così inizia a scrivere alcuni brani in italiano.

Anche always goes after the verb, or if it's in a compound tense, usually we put it between the auxiliary and the past participle.

Excuse me sir, I myself can place it correctly most of the time.
