So, unless someone volunteers for the Powwow story (I do like dEhiN's idea of writing a story, but I wouldn't make anyone do that. Either way is fine with me), I think I can do a short Cheyenne story.

Or maybe I can try to conjure up a short Seneca story (which would probably be better).

I would join. How many participants will there be and when will it start?

Cool. I'll count you in then. :)
How many participants will there be

*shrugs* However many say they want to do it?
Historically it's been low numbers. I'd like us to hit 5 or 6, but I doubt we'll get that far. I'll be happy with any number really, as I'm just starting things back up over here anyway.
and when will it start?

I still haven't decided. I'll open that up to the floor.

Any suggestions as to when we start? Maybe sometime in early December? Or do you want to start sooner?

I think we might limit it to NAILs after all. I don't want to deal with this can of worms.

I swear, give Vijay an inch and he'll take 5 miles!

Sorry for giving you a heart attack about that! I can just go with Micmac/Lnuismk. :)

It doesn't have to be Lnuismk, btw. This is just an initial suggestion. It could even be doing Seneca with you. Maybe.

You are free to pick whatever NAIL you want.

Welcome a board, by the way.

And, since there haven't been any suggestions as to where to start, how about December 1, and we'll go through the end of February?

I might take part in the Powwow, so I could satisfy my current wanderlust for Nitinaht (or Ditidaht, according to the new orthography).

Also, I'd like us all post at least biweekly updates (a.k.a. every 2 weeks). I'm not making it a rule or anything, but I do want some activity if possible.

Personally I'll try for weekly.

But life happens, so that why I'm not making it a rule or anything.

Should we make a personal thread for it (like for TAC)? Can I make it right now? :)

You sure can. Usually they are made in the NAIL subforum here, rather than the TAC subforum.

I'm going to keep the official start date as Dec. 1 and run it through the end of February, but if anyone wants to start early, feel free do do so!

Okay! I think I'm pretty much ready to start whenever at this point...but with the caveat that I'm not sure anyone (else?) will actually post on the day of December 1, including myself, since it may turn out to be a work day for me.

Hmm...do we have an alternative to making a personal thread for it? I'm wondering whether I can include mine just in the Micmac thread, but I'm afraid that might be too confusing.

While we're starting on the 1st, you can post whenever you want (ideally within a 1-2 week period). I'm not micromanaging here. :P

And, as I said upstream, you can start whenever you want. You can start posting today if you really want to. :)

Is Greenlandic considered a NAIL? If so, what are you using or have used or will use to learn it? I've had interest in Greenlandic before but never did anything with it, so maybe I'll join you!
