Joszko Broda
muzyka: Tomasz Lewandowski
słowa: Magdalena Czapińska, Marcin Kydryński
aranżacja: Marcin Pospieszalski

Kiedy Joszko gra
Cały boży świat
W zdumieniu go słucha
Gdy Joszko gra...
Gdy na drumli gra,
Gdy na liściu gra,
Od serca do ucha
Czule jak nikt

Dobry Bóg dał mu talent,
A resztę wygrał Joszko sam!

Tyle jasnych nut,
Tyle ciemnych nut,
I tyle muzyki
Dookoła nas
Tyle złotych strun
Tyle srebrnych strun
Tyle dźwięków zaklętych
W wiolin i bas

Czasem Bóg daje talent,
A resztę musisz wygrać sam

Niech zegary śpią
Otrzyj ślady łez
Oby Joszko grał
Aż po czasu kres

Z każdym swoim dniem
Zaprzyjaźnij się
Spróbuj widzieć świat
PO-ZY-TYW-NIE!

Kiedy jest mi źle,
Mówię świat: nie!
I biegnę na łąkę, gdzie Joszko gra
By zaśpiewać z nim,
Znaleźć czuły rym
Do jego muzyki
Serdeczny rym...

Dobry bóg daje talent,
A reszty każdy szuka sam!

Niech zegary śpią...

I understand a bit...not enough to attempt a full translation, though...:(

I can at least tell you that, at the top, it's "music:, words:, arrangement:", but you probably could figure that out. :P

Maybe I'll have a try...

When Joszko's playing
All the creation
Is listening to him in amazement
When Joszko's playing
When playing the jew's-harp
When playing the leaf
From the heart to the ear
Fondly as nobody [else]

Good God gave him the talent
And the rest Joszko's won by himself!

So many bright notes,
So many dark notes
And so much music
[All] around us
So many golden strings,
So many silver strings
So many sounds bewitched
In viol... [some musical term which I can't translate into English; it's derived from Italian and in English it probably begins with 'viol' ;) ] and bass

Sometimes the God gives [you] a talent
And the rest you need to win by yourself

Let the clocks sleep
Wipe away the traces of tears
May Joszko play
Till the time's end

With each of your days
Become a friend
Try to see the world
POS-I-TIVE-LY

When I feel bad
I say world: no! [I don't quite understand this line, to be honest]
And I run to the meadow where Joszko plays
To sing with him
To find an affectionate rhyme
To his music
A sincere rhyme...

Good God gives the talent
And the rest everybody looks for by himself

Let the clocks sleep...

PS
Seen my translation of that song by A.M. Jopek & M. Żebrowski?

PS PS
It should be 'proszĘ' ;)
