Basically I just started it because a Bulgarian professor at my college is offering a free Bulgarian course. I've had 4 lessons now and so far it's not too hard since we're just starting off and I already know some Russian and Polish. I hope to post here from time to time now to practise and might throw in a few questions when stuff gets trickier.

"Здравей" е обръщение към един човек, а "здравейте" към повече хора (или ако говориш в учтивата форма на "Вие")
"Здравей" is used to refer to a single person, while "здравейте" is used to refer to more people (or if you are referring to someone with the formal "Вие")
Освен това български, английски, руски и т.н. се пишат с малка буква. Това е често срещана грешка и сред българите.
Besides "български", "английски", "руски" etc are written with a small letter. This mistake can often be seen in texts written by natives as well.
