Thanks for the review. An intriguing, slow burning show that I haven't heard of. Luckily someone has uploaded the entire first season on Youtube and I've just watched it all. After the mess that is Jupiter Ascending, it's great to see the Wachowskis come back with something worthwhile.
Lito and Nomi are the two characters that resonate with me the most, and it's nice that they portray the reality of life in the developing world with a certain amount of depth.
The action scenes are kept short, to the point and they're really fun to watch. I was kept on the edge of my seat, not knowing when I would get to see Wolfgang's penis again.
I'm glad you liked it

I wasn't sure it even made much sense
They did with me as well, I'm not surprised about Nomi since she was apparently partially based on Lana Wachowski's own experiences, but Lito... Often male gay characters on TV and their relationships make me feel completely left out, but not this time

I very much agree with you on the action scenes, and they get so much more exciting that way, like they really mattered instead of the usual boring 'people getting up and brushing off something that should have bashed their skull in ten times over' thing.
Wolfgang's penis was pretty meh from my perspective though, but it was nice to see the most gazing shot so to speak of a nude person be of a man for once.
