What a ride Mirai Nikki was. I even watched the OVA online after finishing the series, and it was all fucking awesome. It's right up there as one of my top 5 anime.

The story was incredible. Especially the whole thing between Yukki and Yuno (which is basically the whole crux of the story anyway ) I felt like it concluded better with the OVA though. Kind of a shame it's not included on the blu-ray set.

In all honesty, this is right up there with MSMM.

I just finished Anohana a few days ago. What a beautiful story. It was so good, man! 9.5/10

Why is it I love all these heavy, emotional shows?

Anyone watching Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu? It's shaping to be one of the best anime this season, imo.

Sure The story gets progressively darker so don't judge it by the first few episodes. As a side note, the first episode comes in two parts but the second part is not available everywhere, jsyk.

I've been checking out Twin Star Exorcists lately. So far I'm loving it. It reminds me a bit of Blue Exorcist actually.

Where as I enjoyed most of Kumamiko, I though the ending was crap. I mean they basically reduced Machi to a child like state, where as she was shown as a strong, growing girl at the beginning. I thought it was an odd turn, that didn't sit well with me. 7.5/10

Definitely, I was shocked because I normally do not like this genre of Anime and it was great.

It's a bad time for me to watch anime, but with my self-inflicted impossible schedule I was in a dire need of a stress relief. So I started watching the recently-finished Fukigen na Mononokean. So far it's seriously adorable. Especially that cute eel demon with the extremely unexpected rough accent.
