If you know another North-Germanic language you can usually get the general meaning of it Also, the English edition of Wiktionary has lots and lots of Faroese words, and you can search for inflected forms.

Plus att "alla vet" att franska ska vara vackert och romantiskt och tyska hårt och fult, och då tänker folk så när de hör det och till slut associerar de ljudet av språken med de känslorna. Det blir liksom en självuppfyllande profetia
