Tervhen tuldes, Chitae!

I only understand bits of it. The music and echo-y style makes it more difficult to understand (for me), and I only understand a little Veps to begin with.... If someone can find the written lyrics, I might be able to translate. It's a nice-sounding song!
So she was walking in an unfamiliar village and noticed something.... that's as far as i got. :mrgreen:

minä = I
tämbei = today
verhas küläs = in strange/unfamiliar village
kävelin = I walked

uden = new

homaičin = I noticed

There is a movie about the Veps people living in the region not far from Sankt-Petersburg in Russia. It was made by Karelians and provided partly in russian ( with subtitles in Veps), but most dialogs are in Veps language, Recommend for watching.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3e-iPg7svU

I can't say that I understand it perfectly, but this is more or less what it is about, probably with some errors that hopefully don't change the overall meaning too much!

Today I wandered in an unfamiliar village
I thought I noticed a new house
A wooden house standing on solid hills
Its boat moved quickly in the river.
The windows looked to the south
Cows and horses gathered in the yard
You grow peas, oats and wheat
You work in the fields, the girls [work hard] in the barn
As you are rich-minded
Won't you marry me?
