* Tüttäred means both "daughters" (Estonian tütred) and "girls" (Estonian tüdrukud). In the translation I chose the word "girls" because of this line: tüttäred, sõzeüeni, sõbrani, emäni lahzõd ("Girls, my dear sisters, my friends, my mother’s children"). She also never uses the possessive suffix -ni on the word tüttäred as she does on sõzeüeni, enne[lle]ni and emäni. She does not seem to be singing to her own daughters, but to her sisters and other women.
