Hmm, I ate joulutorttu's and piripiri chicken. I don't know what "chicken" is in Sámi, do you?

Miksi "ii lea" on väärää? Eikös "leat" tarkoita "olet"?...?

I can't really follow what's going on here. As Stacy has said, please try to keep Finnish out of here. It might confuse people because it sometimes looks similar to Sámi, and then they won't know what to think of it.
Please use this thread to practice Sámi :) Ollu giitu.

Yes Im sorry!

Today I learnt something awesome! My teacher used to go out with Ida Toivonen and knows (pekka) Sammallahti and Im going to write my final paper on Saami.

I might be able to get some prime sources! Woohoo.

Do you also happen to know what "thread" is in Sámi? Today I bought a dictionary! Pekka Sammallahti's Saami-finnish / finnish-saami. It's coming from Norway, I can't wait!
