Persian and Arabic letters disappear from post after review/edit

Postby Talha » 2017-08-04, 17:54

Hey guys, just want to flag up a problem I've been experiencing when posting on the Persian forums since I joined a few days ago. I find that when I write Arabic or Persian letters between the or tags, they disappear if I preview or edit the post.

Thoughts? Advice?

Thanks.

I have posted screenshots to demonstrate what I mean:

1. I write in Persian/Arabic between tags

2. I press preview...

3. ...and Persian/Arabic text disappear

4. And when I post no Persian/Arabic appears!

I can't replicate this at all. It works just fine for me (using Safari 11.0)

Anyone else having this issue?

Cannot replicate on Firefox 54.0 or Midori 0.5.11 (GNU/Linux).
