Persian and Arabic letters disappear from post after review/edit

Postby Talha » 2017-08-04, 17:54

Hey guys, just want to flag up a problem I've been experiencing when posting on the Persian forums since I joined a few days ago. I find that when I write Arabic or Persian letters between the or tags, they disappear if I preview or edit the post.

Thoughts? Advice?

Thanks.

I have posted screenshots to demonstrate what I mean:

1. I write in Persian/Arabic between tags

2. I press preview...

3. ...and Persian/Arabic text disappear

4. And when I post no Persian/Arabic appears!

I can't replicate this at all. It works just fine for me (using Safari 11.0)

Anyone else having this issue?

I happened to look at this thread again and am starting to wonder whether maybe this is a Mac-specific problem.

I'm using a Mac (and Safari - Apple's web browser), so I don't think it's that.

From the screenshots you can tell Talha uses Windows 10 and Chrome.

Does anyone here use Windows 10? .-.

Works, also in preview mode.

Hi Talha, did you try without tags?
