Seconded. And I already have my browser set to enlarge webpages.

It looks the same to me, too. Tbh, I'm personally not too bothered about that, but then I'm probably just way more used to reading excessively small print on computers than I should be. :P (Oh, and of course I haven't started actually using it yet...).

Btw, random silly vanity: the last post on both the general forums on dev.unilang.org are by me.

Ah yes, the subforums, that was a feature :) But apart from that font sizes are the same right?

I changed it back now, it should all be the same size. Also, the margins are slightly bigger so the forum content is smaller, like in the current situation.

Hmm, from what I can tell, the font sizes for the language names still look smaller on dev.unilang.org than in the current version of UniLang. (Also, UniLang keeps logging me out whenever I try to access dev.unilang.org :?).

Ah right, still a 5% difference, you have good eyes :) fixed now.

Yeah, the cookies share the same namespace, bit inconvenient for testing but we'll move over anyway.

Thanks! :) I think maybe the language names also look a bit bigger in the current version because most of them are bolded for me, unlike in dev.unilang.org. :silly:

Yeah, the bolding was for unread forums I believe. In the new version the small subforum icon represents read status, like everywhere else.

As you probably notice, the migration has been completed! We're now on the new yet downsized version. There is a link to all the archived resources, as well as the chat, in "Quicks Links". I'll create a more prominent place for it later.

HTTPS works too, for a secure connection. You can ignore the security warning and confirm an exception (or better yet, verify that the SHA256 checksum of the certificate is 24:D5:6C:1E:05:AC:B7:ED:0B:13:36:AF:27:CF:20:DE:16:94:C8:8C:17:72:8E:07:2D:17:08:80:F7:50:FF:38)

There are bound to be some issues that will arise, please report them here or on the github issue tracker (Quick Links -> Development).

If you used the forum in another language, you'll have to configure that again, since all the language packs changed. There is no quick switch anymore so you will have to set if from the User Control Panel.

Are there any plans to revive the Unilang Wiki?

Probably not, the wiki we had suffered from a nasty file corruption several years ago and it's been down for a while. However, if we do a new resources section, it would probably have new wiki-like features.

The View new posts thing seems to be gone. I used that literally all the time to see which threads with new posts I wanted to view. Is it hiding or is there a way to get it back?

Also, if you go to my profile and look at the list of languages, at least for me the flags for Old English and Middle English show up, but the words don't. But they do for other languages. This is likely possibly the case for other languages too.

Love it so far, though! Feels weird since I was used to the old layout but I'll get used to this one soon.

Click the quick links button in the navigation bar (the one with the three lines), it'll be hiding there.

I figured it would be hiding somewhere. Thanks.

One cool thing to have would be a multi-quote button, though that might require having a quick post box on the thread page instead of going to a new page.

Also, the favicon doesn't appear to be working anymore.

Favicon?

The icon that many sites have that shows up in bookmarks, the browser's search bar, the tabs at the top of the browser.

Ahh, OK. :)

Oh, also, I agree with this (I don't know whether I can say I'll get used to it soon, but whatever ) :P

I did copy the favicon and see it myself, perhaps it's a cache issue?

Hmm, that indeed seems to be a bug, I'll have to look into it

I just realized this:

Oops. :para: Did anybody else notice that?

Oh well, they were kind of convenient but weren't all that useful anyway. :P It's not like I'm going to die just because that doesn't exist anymore.

It was really convenient - I used the x-sampa -> IPA converter practically all the time. But if it was too inconvenient for the developers, it's ok.
