The last time I merged two topics, I didn't have a problem, from what I remember. How did/do you go about it?

I couldn't replicate it either.

Can you try doing it again? (you can use the Test Forum if you want).

It seems the plot thinks then.....

I usually go to one of the threads, click the MCP thingy at the bottom of the page (selecting merge of course) and it brings up the selection of other threads in the subforum. I click on the "select thread for merge" or whatever it says on the other thread, and voila.

I haven't tried it since though. It did it to me twice before. I'll try it again today at some point.

What happens to a PM when I delete it before it has been read? Is it still visible to somebody?

I just tried it on the Test forum (sorry for the delay, by the way), and it worked with no problems. :hmm:

I guess I'll let you guys know if it happens again in the NAIL forum. :hmm:

If you delete it while it's still in the outbox (i.e. the other person hasn't read it yet), it's gone forever.

If you send somebody a PM and delete it before they can read it, they'll still be able to see that you sent them a PM. I just tested it, and while I didn't get a notification, I did get a 1 next to the the little PM icon, and in my inbox I got a message with "Delete message. This message was deleted by its author" in place of a subject, and both author and time of the message still visible. If you click on "delete message", you'll get asked "Are you sure you want to delete this message?" So the subject and content of the PM will be gone, but the person you sent the PM to will still be able to see who sent them a PM and when.

My last post here viewtopic.php?f=142&t=44926 has been made today March 18 at 11:10 PM - Central European Time (CET), but the date and time shown in the thread is 2018-03-16 (0:11). Why?

Because of Daylight Savings Time (DST). UniLang doesn't update times automatically. This is also why UniLang goes down every night at 9 PM for me until DST ends; then it goes down at 8 PM until it starts again.

No DST in Europe yet (we only change to summer time next week), so I don't think it's that.

But yeah, when that happens you need to change it manually (Edit Profile -> Board Preferences -> My Timezone).

I haven't had to do that for years... "Berlin", "Stockholm" or "Madrid" mean CET in winter, CEST in summer, and the switch is done automatically. Just make sure that the actual time matches up to the closest major city in the same time zone.

Oh, I see. Yeah, that definitely looks like more spamming than usual. I'm guessing it was generated by a spam bot or something.
