Well, I'm certainly interested, so...I don't think I for one would stop participating in this conversation. :hmm: I have, of course, already expressed my opinion(s), though.

As have I.

(And to be honest, by the way, I wouldn't hate it if we started making some of this happen now, but I think we still have some things to do before we get to that point.)

Then this thread wouldn't exist at all since that's what they already did.

To be fair, this thread used to be just an open suggestion to rename the Polynesian languages subforum, which has now transformed into the AAPL subforum. :)
"And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge." (Ar-Rum: 22)

I'm beginning to think a hybrid approach is maybe desired. If you get what I mean Vijay.

Perhaps there are more.

Thanks! I was looking for the “word association game”. Finally I found it in the Australian, Austronesian and Papuan languages section, I think that the thread has maybe changed the name :hmm:

Nah, pretty sure it was always the Polynesian word-association game (and now there is also the AAPL word association game). There was never a separate one only for Hawaiian.

Ok, thanks. I don’t know why I couldn’t remember :hmm: Maybe the flags have changed and there isn’t any more the Hawaiian flag :hmm:

Yeah, they have because IIRC we picked the Maori flag over the Hawaiian one to represent Austronesian. Maybe the Maori one is more widely recognized internationally? I don't remember.
