This conlang is a Celtic language based on Scottish Gaelic (Gàidhlig) and it is being created to seem like it is spoken in a place where also Lytnish is spoken.

Nouns and articles

Nouns and their articles do only change in number, not in case.

a feskar, (on) feskar - the evening, (an) evening

The plural is made with "-n" or "-en" after b, d, f, k, m, n, p, s and t.
The noun endings "-g" or "-eg" change to "-jen" in the plural.
The ending "-a" changes to "-ajn".

(na) feskarn - evenings

Furthermore, there are some irregular nouns:
éa (horse) > aj (horses)
ku (dog) > køn (dogs)
dyn (person) > dýn (persons)
long (ship) > lyng (ships)
kat (cat) > kæt (cats)
smal (dust) > smil (dustclouds)
...

The singular definite article is "a" and the plural one is "na".

Lenition takes places, when a definite article stands before a feminin noun.
b, m > v
f, s > h (replaced by apostrophe before consonant)
p > f

The indefinite article is "on".
