Since I changed my numbers a long time ago...

Cardinal
0óri
1
2tébe
3ágli
4dáli
5évi
6váva
7zéte
8hesi
9tesi
10lóri

Number 0 is óri because of the resemblence of the number 0 with the letter O.

Number 1 is in the same situation, the lower case L just looks like a 1 to me.

Numbers from 2 to 9 are taken from the Hebrew alphabet, I basically took the name of each letter in the order they appear in the alphabet. With some modifications obviously.

Example:
Beth -> tébe (2)
Gimel -> ágli (3)
daleth -> dáli (4)

Number 10 is just made out of one and zero: ló + óri = lóri

It's so similar to [flag=]it[/flag] agli (difference is accent on the a in "ágli"), which is pronounced like that. I know that your 3 is supposed to be /ˈaːgli/ though ;) but still read it as /ˈaʎʎi/

Yep, indeed, it's /ˈaːgli/.

How do Isyan numbers look?

Presently, they look thusly:

0- an
1- i
2- ji
3- je
4- e
5- o
6- jo
7- ju
8- u
9- ce
10- le
100- hes
1000- fo

There's words for 10,000 and 100,000 a million, but I don't need to show them (partly cause I forget and lost the notes with them).

11- ile
25- oleji
37- juleje
102- jiges
138- ugesje
1,421- ilejigesevo (one-ten-two-hundred-four-thousand) [one and two tens and four hundreds and a thousand]

You kinda work your way backwards in reading the numbers (relative to most numerical systems).

I'm thinking I may change it though. Perhaps I'll just keep this one for bigger numbers, like in the thousands and up, and use a base-5 for up to one hundred for everyday conversations (*shrug* dunno how I might change it).

^I kind of like your monosyllabic numbers. Some of mine seem like they're too long.

Halvian Numbers

All are indeclinable nouns or adjectives except for 1, 2, 3, and 4. For these, 1 and 2 decline like 1st/2nd declension adjectives (in the singular and dual, respectively), and 3 and 4 decline like 4th declension adjectives (in the plural). The masculine nominative functions as the noun.

0 - míla
1 - ros, ra, rom
2 - héō, héā, héō
3 - spēs, spēs, spā
4 - jéntēs, jéntēs, jéntā
5 - gónū
6 - nis
7 - tas
8 - glēs
9 - úpter
10 - kátō

20 - quélvō
100 - próper
500 - dílla
1000 - grénter
Primary Conlang: Halvian
Additional conlangs: Hesternese (Aikedenejo), Galsaic (sister language of Halvian), and Ogygian (unrelated to the others.

Thanks  They're some of the first few things I created too, so glad to hear that they too are okay

And I don't think your numbers are too long ;) I particularly like:

4 - jéntēs, jéntēs, jéntā
6 - nis
9 - úpter
10 - kátō
100 - próper

"Úpter" sounds like "Jupiter" :D

But... upter and proper? How did you come up with them.

Thank you.

Honestly, those two were just words that sounded "Halvian" during one of my brainstorming sessions lol. To come up with words, I usually just starting saying sounds out loud and judging whether or not they sound "Halvian" enough (someone listening to me do this would probably think I was crazy). I remember when I came up with "úpter" I was just like "Okay, I want it to start with u- and I want it to end in -er or -ter." So I thought "unter, no that's a German word, uter, no that's a Latin word...upter should do it". :)

Here are the numbers in Chuhuntali! It's base-20 (subbase-4) and uses both addition (lama (4) + saxi (7) = lamasaxi (11)) and substraction (kura (20) - wa (3) = kuranawa (17)). Here are the numbers from one to twenty:

  1. gu
  2. ppi
  3. wa
  4. lama1
  5. itsal
  6. apu
  7. saxi
  8. lamana2
  9. lamasil
  10. lamapu
  11. lamasaxi
  12. lisu
  13. lisugu
  14. lisuppi
  15. lisuwa
  16. ttaya
  17. kuranawa3
  18. kuranappi
  19. kuranagu
  20. kura4

Chuhuntali count in quite a different way. Touching the right pinkie with the thumb means "one", and the thumb moves to the right until it touches the index finger, which means four. The, the left thumb touches the left index and the count starts again on the right hand. Basically, the fingers on the left show how many fours there are while the fingers on the right show the other numbers. That's why the word for twenty is "two hands", because it uses up all the fours in each hand.
Modernly, though, it is more common to show the numbers by rising the fingers (starting with the thumb and finishing with the right index) until 10 and then crossing the arms and repeating the count (starting with the left hand) until 20.

I'm still deciding on how further numbers will be form. Probably just by juxtaposition and addition, with some degree of substraction.

----------------------------------------------------------

1. lama is the singular for "hand".
2. -na marks the dual.
3. -na also marks the ablative.
4. kura is the irregular dual of lama.
