Yes; after all, no natlangs have a negative "particle" instead of negative verbal morphology.

Tu kusu wo mu gia du tovarojos, wo mu kare emasa dogu gemos.
When I drove to the store, I happily bought that game.
What it would be:
Te kuse wo me gia de tovarojos, wo me karu emasa doge gemos.
I think it flows a little better. Anyone have any opinion?

I did that a bit as well, but sometimes my final u's were indistinguishable from my final o[ʊ]'s
