Let me see... MiloT and Veqq have the texts right? Can't they just pass it onto somebody else so the game can continue? :?

Hmmm...No, I think it's MiloT and ILE who have the texts now. MiloT hasn't logged in in almost a month, Jaakuuta, in like a week. Since I was the first person in the chain, I can send my translation to the next person (Kuba)…So I guess if Milo or Jaa don’t appear by tomorrow evening, I’ll send it along to Kuba.

ILE, do you have the text for Team B?

Team A
- Struthiomimus: Solresol
- MiloT: Haasvia
- Kuba: Qitsári
- tomii515: Schlaspregisch
- Veqq

Team B

- 邪悪歌: Jónné kjél
- ILE: nättesch
- Riptide: Jzacdo/proibata
- Vortex
- Renaçido: Ltāq

Oh... I see. Rereading the posts, the chain for Team A goes like this though:

Team A
- Struthiomimus: Solresol
- MiloT: Haasvia
- Veqq/lexy: (His Germanic conlang)
- Kuba: Qitsári
- tomii515: Schlaspregisch

Wait. Who is translating the texts to English in the end!?

For Team B there was Jākūta, but for Team A it was Hashi... :?

By the way, wasn't the limit number of days only FOUR days? :P

I've got about half of it done, four days is absolutely ridiculous, and I'm working with a somewhat incomplete grammar. :P

If y'all like, you can skip me, it's going to be a good while before I'll be able to finish, I can just pass the text in Jaakuuta's lang on.

Ah, tu as raison...

OK. I sent the text off to Veqq. Updates: I halved the text, because it was really long and it seemed like the length was part of the problem holding up the game. I also think 4 days is really short, so I say we up the length to 7 days...possibly more if someone really needs it.

ILuvEire, if you want, you can do a translation of the first two verses or just past Jaa's version on to Riptide and he can just do the first two verses and leave out the rest.

Onward! :silly:

I just went ahead and passed it along to Riptide, I'm going to be gone at a Debate tournament for most of next week, and I just really dont think I'll be able to finish it by the time we leave, and I certainly wont be able to finish it by then. So feh.

Hmm...when did citing oneself become trendy? :silly:

Aye, conlanger5, don't worry, you've been heard. :) I was thinking that we could fit you in somewhere towards the end of the chain for Team A, but I didn't want to get ahead of myself. I wanted to at least see the chain move on through this second leg, before making any plans. Renacho, for the same reason, I didn't address your question. If need be, I can translate back into English, unless of course you're volunteering 8-)

Okay, I'll move my ass towards the end then. Here's my proposal for the final lists:

- Struthiomimus: Solresol
- Veqq/lexy: (His Germanic conlang)
- Kuba: Qitsári
- tomii515: Schlaspregisch
- conlanger5: Mođëp'öso
- Struthiomimus: (English)

- 邪悪歌: Jónné kjél
- ILE: nättesch
- Riptide: Jzacdo/proibata
- Vortex
- Renaçido Ltāq
- 邪悪歌 (English)

Will Veqq be able to translate from Solresol though? Haven't seen him/her in quite a while...
WWZD (What would Zorba do)?
C'mon ,we can solve it on our own! :P

If these lists don't work out, then we can just make a long list with whoever remains. That's one of the main difference between natlangs BTG and conlangs BTG.

Yeah, the new lists work for me, except that Team A is going to be further truncated. Veqq still hasn't checked the message I sent to him with the text (I dunno, maybe something came up?), so I'm going to send it on to Kuba. Third time's a charm :) ; I already talked to Kuba and he's still interested...so yay! I won't be sending it to myself to translate

Any updates? :D

Riptide and Kuba, have you guys passed the texts on? Where do we stand in the two chains?

More revision. Hmmm. Vortex, Renaçido, are y'all still interested in the game? If so, I propose just adding you two onto Team A...since the text has only been translated once for Team B.

So, how about:

- Struthiomimus: Solresol
- Kuba: Qitsári
- tomii515: Schlaspregisch
- Vortex
- conlanger5: Mođëp'öso
- Renaçido Ltāq
- Struthiomimus: (English)

And Tomii and conlanger...if you guys could confirm that you're still participating/interested, I think that'd help with the game running more smoothly. Thanks all. :)
