Searching for easy texts in bulgarian

Hi all,

Just like most of you I suppose, I'm learning Bulgarian. I'm in the search at the moment for texts which are easy to read (i.e. ideally in present tense and with pictures) for me to improve my reading skills, my comprehension and just familiarize myself more with the language. However this seems to be close to impossible to find online. The only way seems to be to order books for children on amazon or similar.
I'm thus asking, has anyone found anything relevant ?
I have found some Winnie-the-Pooh texts (along with recording of someone reading it, which is a huge +1 in my opinion !) but the bad formatting and the available translation are something I see to be more negative than positive. (If you're still interested, have a look here : http://www.let.rug.nl/~houtzage/bulgarian.html )

Any input welcome !

Cheers,
Alex

Well I mean you could also check out ebay, and if eBay does not have any Bulgarian children books, then maybe you can find some videos on YouTube or something.

That is the best advice I can give you unfortunately.

Hi Cesare !

Thanks for the reply. Ebay, or amazon seems to be the only way apparently. Videos will be useful at some point, but right now I feel like I need to read. I think videos will come after that. The main reason being, when reading, I can read at my own pace, paying attention to every detail in the text (gender and so on). Something I'm not familiar enough and I won't be able to handle at a spoken level yet.

Read the newspapers, thus you'll also get familiar with the culture.

This one has every single issue from 2009-2015 in .pdf and is leftist, which is good I think:
