Texts with Audio

Postby Kasuya » 2009-05-24, 20:57

All this talk of pronunciation reminded me that my Vietnamese pronunciation is still awful. I'd like to do something about it and I believe it can best be done with texts that are accompanied by a recording of someone reading the text. For example a news article which is accompanied by a recording of someone reading the article. I've used songs plus their lyrics in the past but they are really not ideal because the pronunciations are so stylized. Any ideas?

Hello

Regarding your question, I have found one e-newspaper which might be helpful. Its name is Tuoitre or "Tuổi trẻ" or "Youth". Here is the link.

This site offers many things including 'Tuổi trẻ Audio" that is what you are looking for. Various people read aloud the articles on newspapers. Unfortunately, the articles aren't posted on this site. The articles can be found in its original site by copying the titles and pasting them in search box. It's the only way I know. ^^

I am newcomer here. Hopefully, my suggestion will reach you. You posted your question last year!

You're welcome. Here is another site. I assume this site is better. The voice of the readers sounds elegant and refined.
