Translation and colloquial history

Postby Aj10002 » 2020-06-25, 7:13

Hi! My Iranian mother use to call my eye boogers (rheum) something in Farsi but I can’t recall. The literal translation in English was “Devil’s poop” I think. Is anyone familiar with this phase? If so can you share the etymology and maybe why its called that? Is that a common phrase for such a thing or something very unique to her family. Don’t mean to be gross or offensive. Also please reply phonetically. Thank you!!
