I am a writer, and this is the situation: From a short distance, a young man mishears a comment made in conversation. The similarity of sounds could easily be confused in English, but I don't know if this confusion would exist in Farsi.
I would like to know if this statement, spoken in Farsi: "Navid will be the death of me." could be misheard as: "Navid will be dead to me."
