The music tradition of Afghanistan, especially ghazal (I think it called 'gazel' in Turkish), has a long shared history with the music of South Asia, so a lot of Afghan music, especially Afghan ghazals are hard to tell apart from South Asian music (unless you know the languages!).

Yes, we have gazals, too. The language of gazals contain lots of Arabic and Persian elements. Although they are getting a bit out-of-date, there are still some gazals people like listening, like this one:

Wow! Turkish ghazals sound very interesting! Especially for me, since the only ghazals I have ever listened to are in the Asian style. It has a very minimalist style and sounds very raw. Do you have the lyrics/translation for the 2nd link that you sent?

Yes, I have found the lyrics and tried to translate but I must confess that it may have mistakes, because the language of the lyrics is a bit archaic and full of symbolism. You can immediately notice the effect of Persian. I think Alish and you can understand some parts better than me.

Urfa or Şanlıurfa with its modern name, is a city in south-eastern Turkey and has got a tradition of music gathering with the name of "sıra geceleri", "sequence nights", because at these entertainment gatherings people sing in turns. They sing, dance and eat çiğ köfte, köfte with raw meat. It may seem as a simple party gathering, but it has rules and adab, manners and decency, are important. Gazels are an important part of this tradition.

It said, we string (arrange) words like pearls and recite “insha” ( a kind of euphuistic literary style)

In the past, I couldn’t open my eyes because of sleep
Şimdi uyku yerine şi’r-i mualla okuruz
Now, we recite shi’ri mualla (high ranked poems??) instead of sleep
Füruğ-i medrese tahsilin ikmal ettim
I have completed the education at the faculty of light???
Yeter ey dil nice bir lafz ile mana okuruz
That’s enough oh tongue! We recite the meaning (wisdom) with so many different words.

Searching the other Persian music videos, I came up with Giti. I like Gole Maryam and I have learned that Giti sang this nice song. Another video with two of her songs is here. It was nice to understand the entrance of the song easly

I think that it depends on the size of the original MP3 that is uploaded onto the site, I'm not sure though, I'd imagine on average around 2/3MB.

Yes, this album is very nice. Shadmehr is one of those few singers whose almost all songs are beautiful. He is also a great musician. He plays guitar and violin well. It's a pity he left the country.

Yes, I know that song. Emrah began to sing when he was just a child. He used to be called "Küçük Emrah", امراه کوچک , at that time. He made same fils, too.
I have listened to another Persian-Turkish song from Raika Seifi.Tasvire man o to is the title of the song. I have it on my PC but I couldn't find it on umahal. I think I couldn't spell the words correctly.
