These are most of my bookmarked sites on Persian, in case they may help someone. :)

I still need to clean them up and add a few that are still missing, though.

In Cultural Centre, they gave us a book today which is written by Ahmad Saffar Moqaddam, Ph.D. and was published by شورای گسترش زبان و ادبیات فارسی and it's name is Persian Language: Book One. Level 1 will be taught from this book. I will try to scan and upload the book soon.

I have Farsça öğrenelim: Türkler için Farsça (1). I would be interesting in seeing which book you are using there and compare it with mine :). Unfortunately I don't have scanner to share mine :(.

My book has the same content, but at the same time is very different. The lessons start with a dialogue, in which a few tips of colloquial Persian are given here and there. Then there is a grammar explanation, vocabulary to learn and a writing part. There are also text that must be translated from Turkish into Persian and from Persian into Turkish.

I think the reason why mine is different is because my book is made for Turkish people, because content is basically the same.

Btw, thanks for sharing this link, is very useful :D.

This is a great reader for learners who have moved past an intermediate level, but still struggle with completely independent reading (without referring to dictionaries). Texts are organised thematically, and a pretty comprehensive list of nouns, verbs and adjectives relating to the overall topic of the chapter is given at the outset.

Although it is a technically a French book, pretty much everything besides the introduction and the equivalents of the vocab lists are given in Persian, so having a weak (or no) knowledge of French shouldn't really hold you back when using this book.

Best of all, this book also comes with a CD with recordings of 2 or 3 texts from every chapter, so if you feel like it, you can also practice your listening skills.

The chapter topics in the book are roughly: Family, the Human Body, the Soul, Clothes, the House, Food, Nature & Weather, Animals, Plants, Time, Rural Life, City Life, Professions, Industry & Commerce, Education, Recreational Activities, Arts, Science, Media, Religions, Festivals and Traditions, Iran, Politics & Economy.

Nouveau!!

Pour les francophones, les cours de persan de l'IRIB sont, pour les leçons les plus récentes, en version audio et texte :yep: !!:

For french speakers, the last persian lessons on IRIB are both in script and in audio!!
