is "competition".

I think प्रतियोगिता is mainly used for sports competitions, but I'm not 100% sure. Another word for 'competition' is muqaabla which can also mean 'fight', 'resistance', 'opposition' and 'comparison'.

I'm not sure the spelling in Devnagri is quite correct though.
Pratiyogitaa usually refers to competetive events. Muqaabla implies a fight or match.
