(masculine noun)

meaning: escapism

Here's the background on this word: it's from Sanskrit "palaayan" (also masc. noun) meaning flight, escape or desertion.

I'd love to give you the Devnagari spelling but I can't type that on this computer. :x

I think stress in Hindi is quite even, if you put it on any syllable I don't think it matters, but you should check that with a native speaker of good Hindi.

pasalupo, "-vaad" is the "ism". As a suffix it means a concept or theory of the thing it's joined to.

The stress would normally be on the second syllable, (palaayanvaad, but in Hindi the stress is not fix, so you could also pronounce it palaayanvaad if that suits the sentence melody better.
