Good job both of you! Just a tiny correction. In Hindi possession by the subject of the sentence is indicated by a distinct possessive pronoun: अपना / अपनी / अपने, and not by the regular poss. pronouns

So since in your sentence the subject of the sentence (मैं) is the one who possesses the पांव, you'll write/say:

मैं अपने पांव छू रहा हूँ.

Examples:

(Meera's doing her [own] work).
If you write मीरा उसका काम कर रही है that means Meera's doing someone else's work (Meera's doing his/her work).

Similarly: If someone asks: तुम अपनीपत्नी के साथ हो? (Are you with your wife?)
The answer, though a different subject, will have the same poss. pronoun: हां, मैं अपनी पत्नी के साथ हँ.

And in the oblique case:
वह अपने घर में है. (He's in his [own] house)

Regular possessive pronouns are used wherever the "possessor" isn't the subject of the sentence i.e. the possessed-thing might be the subject: मेरे पांव दुख रहे हैं (My feet hurt), or it's an equational sentence: यह मेरे पांव हैं (These are my feet), or just a sentence like: वह मेरे घर में हाई (He's in my house) etc. अपना / अपनी / अपने can be used in such sentences in addition to the reg. pronouns to emphasize possession - वह मेरे अपनेघर में हाई: He's in my OWN house.

It only means He is walking, for feminine subject the sentence would be वह चल रही
है.
