Postby Mantaz » 2005-03-15, 19:57

Sveiki,

***

Hello,

In this thread I offer to listen to Lithuanian music. If you have any requests, don't hesitate and ask :) Also please comment the songs you hear, so I'll know you are interested and will post some more songs ;)

Here are few songs of M. Mikutavičius

Ar mylėsi tu mane? [Will you love me?]
Ar prisimeni tu mus... [are you still remember us...]
Aš miręs [I'm dead]
Bliamba, juk aš tave myliu [Damn, I love you]
Pakeliui namo [On a way home]

Sure I know them, just they are not that active as they were before. Which CD you have? :)

I could check for some more songs of them later ;)

Man labai patinka šios dainos :). Iki šiol aš girdėjau tik "Bliamba, juk aš tave myliu".

I like these songs a lot :). Until now I had heard only "Bliamba, juk aš tave myliu".

Did you right click the file and choose "Open" or "Save"?

Lithuanian Invazija is one of my favorite hardcore bands.

dr. Green is a Lithuanian punk/ska band which is known in Poland. They gave a few gigs here and made a good impression. No wonder, as they're really good.

I'm only giving links to 2 samples. If you want more, both bands are available at http://evil.hardcore.lt .

Invazija "Laiko tave" http://evil.hardcore.lt/mp3/invazija/laiko_tave.mp3

dr. Green "Tai ne man" http://www.hardcore.lt/mp3/drgreen/dr.Green%20-%20Purvas/04-dr.Green-Tai%20ne%20man.mp3

Never heard of them, possibly because I don't listen to hardcore ;) But thanks for the links anyway.

Here's another (brand new) hip-hop song from G&G Sindikatas.

G&G Sinsikatas - Pasaka apie 2 brolius [Tale about 2 brothers]

Marijonas Mikutavičius doesn't work for me at all, I don't know what my style is if it exists, but his music belongs to a disjoint set from those I like. ;) Skamp is fine, but it would be much better if they didn't do all the non-rapping parts in English. Nevertheless, keep up with posting these hints, and tell me there are some rock bands in Lithuania too. :)

Well, the one fo Skamp's singer is Irish and she's very bad in Lithuanian ;)

As for rock, there are some rock bands like Antis, weekends, ŽAS. A. Mamontovas is also doing it. Too bad I have nothing to download atm :(

Don't worry, I'm fairly proactive if I have the group names. ;)

Oh, yes, I love funny songs like these :D! Especially I liked the song "Berniukams". But the Schnappi song is much better in the original German version. I bought the CD for my daughter, and she's crazy about it, it's like a miracle medicine for when she's not feeling well :D. This Lithuanian version is very different, but maybe she'll like it too.

Well my brother has a doughter and she is also crazy about this song: she always sing and dance when she hears it  It would be interesting to know, how your doughter liked the lithuanian version
Oh, yes, I love funny songs like these Very Happy!

I tryed to find more funny songs, but I did'nt find any. So I have puted jolly one (about love):
Geltona-Apie meilę : http://www.polarhome.com:793/~egidijus/files/meile.mp3

Now that I've listened to those Yva songs a couple of more times, they're starting to annoy me . It seems there are songs too silly even for me... at least for listening every day ;). The Geltona song is quite nice.

Hm, I'll try to look for it when I'm home.

But for now I have an album of one guy called Žilvinas Žvagulis to share (Lithuanians are strongly prohibited to download one since they might buy one in some local store ;)).
